We Have Launched the Working Time Reduction Project

The project team has officially commenced work on a research initiative dedicated to analysing the conditions, impacts, and implementation potential of working time reduction in Poland.

The project is currently in its preparatory phase, which includes a comprehensive review of both Polish and international academic literature, an analysis of experiences from European countries, and the development of the research methodology. At the same time, the team is designing research tools that will be used in the subsequent stages of the project to identify the expectations and concerns of employees, employers, and social partners regarding working time reduction.

Over the coming months, the research team will conduct studies examining the impact of working time reduction on employees’ health and wellbeing, while also assessing the economic and legal implications of implementing this approach within organisations. The findings will be published regularly on the project website as the research progresses.

The project’s objective is to provide reliable, evidence-based knowledge and practical resources to support employers, employees, and public institutions in making informed decisions about working time reduction.
